greatest possible flexibility. This combination of features allows the player the
ultimate level of tonal expression.
Improved Low B-C# connection
An improved mechanism from low B to C# ensures a proper seal for these
notes which promotes a clear response throughout the low range of the instrument.

Lighter thumb rest and thumb hook base designs produce better response and a more cohesive tone.

An adjustable Front F mechanism gives the player the freedom to find the
optimal level of resistance in the altissimo range.

which provide excellent protection. A convenient shoulder

The new 82ZII has a new, one-piece bell which really makes this model play with more resonance and “meat” than the earlier 82Z and also includes a new, re-designed Low B-C# adjusting screw connection. Finishes include Lacquer (YAS-82ZXII or YAS-82ZIIWOF, without the High F# Key), Black Lacquer (YAS-82ZIIB), Silver-Plate (YAS-82ZIIS) and Un-lacquered (YAS-82ZIIU or YAS-82ZIIUWOF, without the High F# key). We have found the Black Lacquer finish to be exceptional with added warmth and better projection. The Silver-Plate is also quite good in this model.
Sax Alley price includes our $400 “New Horn Set Up” and FREE SHIPPING so the instrument will play as well as possible once you receive it.
