The conception of this series was the fruit of research on both external shape (particularly the beak) and sound, in order to meet the needs of today’s saxophone players.  The BL3 is used primarily for classical playing with a .0728″ tip opening.  The BL4 can be used or either classical or jazz at it’s tip is larger at .090″.
