H. Couf Artist Hard Rubber Tenor Mouthpiece #5*R – Used in excellent condition, refaced by James Bunte to .100″ Tip!

We don’t know much about this mouthpiece except that it was manufactured for Herbert Couf, probably in the 70’s, is an “Artist” model in a 5*R facing that was refaced to a .100″ tip by James Bunte.  External diameter is smaller so it will probably need an alto ligature instead of a standard size tenor ligature. (Herbert Couf had his own line of saxophones as well, made by Keilwerth and they play extremely well.)

Condition is excellent with good tip, rails and bite area.

No ligature or cap included.  Ask us if you would like us to find something that will fit this one.
