Description
The Sphere Chamber is Francois’ smallest chamber and brightest in sound quality. The Medium Large Chamber is warmer with less edge and brilliance.
This is a replica of the original Francois Louis® mouthpiece design. It offers an unbelievable dynamic range with a full and rich sound color from the softest pianissimo to the most powerful fortissimo. This is a mouthpiece that can take all the air you can possibly give it and turn it into a full, colorful sound rich in harmonics. This is a mouthpiecepiece for those who love to use sound the way painters use color.
The Signature Model, which costs slightly more, has been hand faced by Francois Louis!
The L Model Tenor Ultimate or Pure Brass Ligature from Francois Louis fits this mouthpiece.
The Medium Large Chamber Model features an oval, more traditional type of chamber. It offers quite the same advantages in dynamics with more separation in the spectrum between highs and lows and offer a more airy sound with a lot of bounce. This is the perfect mouthpiece for jazz and hard bop styles of playing. It is reminiscent of the sound of the 50’s, playing with the efficiency of the best modern mouthpieces.
