Eastman 52nd Street – Professional Tenor Saxophone #T1101032 (SOLD!)

This is Eastman Music’s professional model tenor, the “52nd Street” model with rolled tone holes and no lacquer.  It has a nice, hand engraved 52nd Street scene on the bell and is a great playing instrument.

Good condition and a warm sound quality that plays very big and resonant!  A serious patina has developed on this and it gives the horn a beautiful, well loved look.  This is the TAIWANESE Model, not the current Chinese model which, so far, does not play as well!!

(Pics coming soon!)

Out of stock

Eastman’s jazz tenor with rolled tone holes and better overall response and intonation than the comparable Mauriat tenor.  The sound quality is also a bit warmer than the Mauriat and more focused as well.
Comes with a BAM Tenor Case.
This is the tenor that Bob Mintzer is now playing and endorsing so if you haven’t played one of these, do so now!  You won’t be disappointed!!  Check out Bob playing the 52nd Street Tenor in this YouTube video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wh0zD2MWgEM
Other endorsers include Bennie Maupin (http://benniemaupinmusic.com), Gary Bias (https://www.facebook.com/thunderbop/) and Kirk Tracy (http://www.eastmanwinds.com/kirk_tracy).
We will include the Sax Alley “Complete Adjustment”  with the price of this tenor and replacing any bad pads so it will play better than new when you receive it.
(Shipping cost is extra and dependent on destination.)
